”Remember to “Respect Everyone, Respect Education, and Respect Your Environment”.
Grad Grams are on sale now in the main office. A Grad Gram is a personal message that you send to a 2013 Graduating Senior. Grad grams are $1 each, 6 for $5 and 25 for $20. All finished grams must be turned into the main office by June 5th.
If you are interested in taking the C.N.A. course but are NOT interested in joining the Youth Apprenticeship Program, some seats are still available for WCTC’s summer sections. See Mrs. KJ before the end of the day TOMORROW.
Attention Junior Class - voting for your class officers for the 2013-14 school year will take place TOMORROW during 2nd and 3rd hours prior to your presentations in the auditorium. That will be the only opportunity to vote so make sure you take time to participate in the election.
All current SOE students--your final performance evaluations and your second semester reflection papers are due to your supervising teacher no later than TOMORROW. Also, be sure to get in your weekly hours reports on Mondays through the rest of the school year.
Do you have pride points that you would like to turn in for an incentive? If you do, there will be a PBIS representative in the cafeteria at lunch time TOMORROW. Bring your pride points to cash in for something special.
STUDENT SERVICES
The Science Talent Expansion Program (STEP) is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Two 2-week summer workshops will cover cutting edge laboratory techniques and experiments in Biochemical Sciences. Students will be exposed to scientific enquiry of conducting experiments, recording data and analyzing results. Students will receive 1 college credit for the workshop.
There is NO cost to the students to participate in the workshop. Bus passes and lunch passes will be provided.
You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 31, 2013
DATES/TIMES:
Workshop 1: June 17 – June 27, 9.00am-3.15pm
Workshop 2: July 15 – July 25, 9:00am-3:15pm. See Mrs. Schuster in Student Services for an application.
CLUBS
Attention all juniors in National Honor Society: If you were unable to attend last night’s meeting, please stop by Room 244 to fill out the membership forms and to pick up an agenda. Also, anyone interested in running for office, please visit the NHS school fusion page to print out the application. All applications are due to Mrs. Hughes by Friday, May 31st.
The Art Department of Menomonee Falls High School is proud to announce the 2013 Advanced Placement Studio Art Student Exhibition. The opening reception is TONIGHT 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the MFHS art gallery area.
Each student will have all 12 pieces from their Concentration Portfolio on display that demonstrates a depth of investigation and process of discovery. The other pieces created by the students this past year will be continuously streaming for all guests to view. In addition, there will be light appetizers and beverages for your enjoyment.

SPORTS
Senior Athletic Award recipients: Please turn in your RSVP for the photo and the Awards ceremony by tomorrow.
The Senior Athletic Award Recipients photo will be taken on Thursday at 10:30 during 4th hour. Please come dressed in your full GAME DAY uniform, preferably BURGUNDY. That means cleats, eye black, helmets, swim suits, singlets, shin guards, bats, balls, gloves and whatever else you would play in. If you do not come dressed to play you will NOT be allowed in the photo. We will meet in the Main Office lobby at 10:30.
Attention Athletes: Absolutely NO cleats are allowed in any part of the building.
